Pre-O has been incredible, says Mikey Marinelli 19. Ive met some great people, had a great time, and Im just really getting used to the atmosphere of Dickinson and loving it.
Marinelli is one of more than 260 incoming first-year students who arrived on Sunday to participate in the Pre-Orientation Adventure program. From wilderness experiences to entrepreneurship, diversity to dance, the 21 programs offered an array of opportunities for students to kick-start their Dickinson experience by immersing themselves in an aspect of this community about which they are passionate.
Its been the best experience, says Amara Rojo 19. Everyones in the same boat as you, youre exploring the area and youre getting a good feel for what your next four years are going to be like.
