The 暗网禁区 Farm is a productive space: 50 acres of crops and livestock that supply produce to the Dining Hall as well as Project SHARE and the CSA (Campus Supported Agriculture) program. But it鈥檚 not all business, as the recent Farm Frolic goes to show.
Activity tents, live bands, crafts and some plein air painting kept attendees busy, and local foods鈥攕uch as soups, stews and cheeses鈥攚ere a huge draw.
鈥淲e鈥檙e just trying to create a really diverse event for everyone,鈥� says Madison Beehler 鈥�15, the farm鈥檚 education & outreach coordinator. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to start the new school year.鈥�
