About Me
For nearly two decades I have spent my professional career as a classroom teacher. The last 15 years of that time I worked directly with high school juniors and seniors as their government or history teacher. I have spent nearly all my life in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; most of that time has been within walking distance of the beautiful Dickinson campus. I have had childhood friends, colleagues and my own students choose the amazing education, experience and opportunity that °µÍø½ûÇø can provide. I look forward to helping you find your future here as well!

What are the qualities that make you proud to be you?
I am most proud of the fact that those I care about know they can depend on me. I was once described as someone who “takes care of his people”. I hadn’t realized it before then, but it gave be a real sense of pride to learn it and have worked to keep up that reputation ever since.
Fun Facts
- I get to bring my own children to sled on the same hills on the Dickinson campus that I went down as a kid.
- A trip to Leo’s or Massey’s for ice cream is a constant disagreement even within my own household, not just on campus.
- There are numerous historic markers around campus and all over Carlisle. I’ve been a member of one of the organizations responsible for some of these markers, Historic Carlisle, since 2008.
